Piratron+ ~ turn-based App Reviews

I love this game!!! However; it has a few bugs that need to be worked out. I would like to be able to turn the sound off within the game when I get an alert that its my turn ....the screen change is slow from one game to the next.

Piratron 4 Friends is unbelievable creative! It is a clean fun game for Pirates of any age and talents! Piratron is among one of my favorite games and keeps me coming back for more play!

This is a turn based game that is very simple and fun and easy to pick up. There is a little bit of strategy involved too, but its mostly a "luck of the draw" type game. The best part about it, though, is that Ive made friends all over the world through their chat function that I play this game with every day.

The game is very addictive, but recent updates have left the game buggy. It crashes every 5-10 moves, usually requiring a reboot of my iPad.

First, the game is a blatant ripoff of the board game Qwirkle. They copied the game play and added a pointless pirate theme. Whatever. When qwirkle makes their own app, Ill switch over. In the meantime, no iPad options to play this cool game except for this one. Its a decent implementation but it has several bugs. Some include: notifications. The sound is a flute melody, about 4 notes long. And it plays the push notification AT FULL IPAD VOLUME. Even if you have volume set to lowest setting, this game -- and only this game -- plays it at 100% levels. Not fun when you are trying to sleep. Also the game inexplicably doesnt allow landscape mode. Even with a square board. Hello...? iPad stands hold the device sideways. Not vertically. Add landscape mode already. Handful of other bugs like difficulties placing tiles sometimes. But game is well made overall. 4 stars when they fix the above.

Love the game!!! After I play a game it dont go to the next game well let you go the the game it totally close ... So pls fix

I really enjoy playing with other people from around the world.

Still enjoying the game. Please add a way to move from game to game without having to move back to the home screen. Something like the "Next Game" button in WWF. Waiting for the little flame at the top to blow things up is STILL annoying.

This game is pretty rough around the edges. Its fun, but has bugs that need to be fixed. You have to be delicate when reordering tiles or even placing them. Too much movement and the game will glitch out. Its not stable at all. Theyve also scrapped fun features from it like expressions on your avatar. If you like Words with Friends, give it a shot, but dont expect the same level of quality as the game is abandoned. Oh and waiting for the bomb to explode after playing a turn is really annoying.

For any fan of qwirkle this game is great. Cute pirate theme, you can play multiple games at the same time with people you know or random folks from anywhere there is connectivity. My friends and I are addicted.

Our family is enjoying playing Piratron against each other -- 6 of us plus a extended family member -- representing 3 generations. The pirate imagery and language is cute. It does have some bugs -- tends to freeze, the avatars disappear, takes a longer than expected time to refresh/calculate points. Rebooting your device usually takes care of the avatar problem. Its really fun to win. When youre playing for awhile, there isnt really anything to do with the points.
